Nature & Wildlife for Future Generations

Water Bodies

Half of Earth’s species make their living within the water bodies. The Arctic, Atlantic, Indian, Pacific, and Southern oceans regulate the marine biodiversity with over 2 million species making a habitat within.

Wildlife

The beautiful undomesticated class of species that share the planet with humans makes it a lively dome. Human involvement in unsustainable ways has posed a threat to the mere existence of these organisms.

Landscapes

A combination of several landforms constitutes landscapes. Mountains, Hills, Deserts, Plains, Plateaus, Streams, etc adds beauty and contribute positively to regulating the climate and balance of nature.

MUST KNOW

National forest policy demands each nation to have 33% forest cover in order to maintain sustainable balance over the ecosystem. Over a period ranging from 1990 – 2019 there has been a subsequent decline in nature and wildlife globally owing to deforestation. The survey carried out by the United Nations reveals 16 million hectares of forest area vanishes annually where one hectare is 2.47 acres of land. Europe and Asia contrasted to Africa, North & Central America, Oceania, and South America have shown a gradual increment in the forest land over the period of 20 years following a strict action plan of planting saplings. With each year tallying the biodiversity is compromised with the degradation of characteristic assets. The planted forests cannot bring back everlasting biodiversity since monoculture pattern is been adopted. Well rooted biodiversity can only be developed and sustained with the introduction of polyculture. The hard truth is we have lost some of the species that made fine contributions in maintaining the balance. Deforestation elevates the rate of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere. These gases trap heat and be a direct cause of global warming, Chloro Fluro Carbons (CFCs) and Halons contribute to ozone degradation by 4% each decade since 1970.
